To The Max...

A few weeks ago I wore this maxi dress out one evening for dinner.
I wore the leather jacket just to give this ultra feminine dress an edge.

I was in a whimsical mood so I went for this long, flowy dress.
I paired the dress with a skinny waist belt, my matric dance shoes and a vintage clutch.

I love these big disk like earrings that I have had for forever.
They were perfect for my dressy mood!

Do you ever get in the mood to just dress up and wear something that you normally would not wear??

I leave you with this quotation from Bill Blass
 "When in doubt, wear red."

Reminiscing

This is an outfit that I decided to wear for a little walk down memory lane.

I chose my floral romper that Ive worn in a previous post, a coral/orange blazer, beige leather sandals and brown leather bag with beautiful gold buckle.

The reason why this day was full of old memories was because my friend Lenny and I were taken on an exciting tour around our old school.

It was surreal to see how much has changed and to reminisce about the good times and laughs that were experienced there.

I absolutely love catching up with friends that I have not seen in a while and picking up as if no time has passed at all.

What a special day!
Thank you Len.

This is how I wore the clothes in the first pic.

I found an old pair of coral earrings that belonged to my mother and they matched so well with the colour of my blazer.

I accessorised with  gold and orange bangles and a cuff that I love and often wear.

Get your ducks in a row...

I have always loved stripes.
Something about them is classy yet so casual at the same time.

This particular tank has sentimental value as I purchased it from H&M on a trip to London.

I've paired the tank with camel coloured cropped trousers which I love.
I think stripes and camel go complement each other rally well.

I've accessorised with tortoise shell sunglasses, a Polo belt, a gold watch, a gold leather cuff and basic black flats.

These were some of the cute little ducks that were prancing around while we took the photos.
So cute!!

DIY Sweater

I wore this simple outfit to church last Sunday.

My necklaces, and cuff bracelet are all  form the flea market.

This sweater is really old and if I'm not mistaken is a men's sweater.
Anyways I recently realised I love it and decided to cut it to a shorter length to better suit my frame.
(You cant tell right now cause Ive tucked the end of the sweater into my jeans)
I love reconstructing clothes but sometimes DIY can be risky as you can end up ruining your clothes.

This outfit was so chill and comfortable.
I'm definitely gonna try mixing up this style into future outfits.

Trendy Topic: Tough as Nails

These are some examples of Spring and Summer nail colours that I am loving...

This baby blue colour is one of my favourites.
I usually prefer pinks or nudes when it comes to nail colour, but I have to say that I love the way
this blue colour looks on my fingers.
Its such a happy and cheerful colour.

Nude and pink nail polish are a staple for every female beacause they work effortlessly with a varirety of differnt coloured outfits.

I love this emerging trend of painting the part of the nail closest to the cuticle in black and the rest of the nail nude or white.
It looks really interesting and unique.
I might give it a try sometime...

Enjoy your day

Gone with the Gray

I love the simplicity and ease of this outfit.
I was writing a test on this particular day so  comfort was definitely key.

This is the first time in months that I have been able to wear sandals and I am so thankful that
Spring is finally here.

I think its so much easier to get dressed in warmer weather.
It takes a lot less time, that's for sure...

I love these snake skin leather sandals.
They added an interesting element to the outfit.

My sister gave me this waterfall throw over after she decided she didn't like it anymore. Score! I'm wearing a simple black tank and leggings and jewelry from an assortment of places!

As you can tell it was kinda windy so my sister and I got a bit carried away while snapping the photos.

This photo is all kinds of Fierce to me
